I have been a customer of ICICI Direct since inception – Apr 2000. I was willing to pay premium for better service but of late, over the last year or so, I have found their services lacking. Their intent is to squeeze you for maximum charges. Their method is sneaky. Their buy and sell recommendations are aligned to their interests of increasing brokerage rather than your profit. They make it very difficult for you to get info or contact them. No response or a poorly worded reply is all you can expect from their customer service or Relationship Manager. I am exiting after 20 years.

My experience is this a fraud brokerage firm. Automatically call options are squared off.
Had been Happy with ICICI Direct but they proved to be completely ineffective and perhaps get no respect from their own arm the ICICI Credit Card department… showing absolutely no consideration for their clients and completely ignoring his portfolio and past record. Considering shifting to some other service provider in the new financial year.
